Our Story

Olive oil has been an integral part of my culture for over 3000 years, and my family has been cultivating and pressing olive oil for five generations.

Farm worker harvesting fresh olives at Damya Olive Oil Farm

Many olive oil lovers don’t realize this, but Tunisia is the worldwide leader in olive oil production outside of Europe, and it has only begun to be exported direct to the US in the last twenty years. So, while Tunisia makes some of the best quality olive oil in the world, it’s still relatively unknown, and difficult to find in most grocery stores.

When I moved the US five years ago, I quickly discovered how much I missed the unique, fresh, and delicious flavor of Tunisian olive oil from our family olive groves. So, in 2019, I decided bring the best of Tunisian olive oil to the USA from my family farm. It is pure, fresh, never blended, sustainably farmed, and it is extracted from delicious organic Tunisian olive varietals that do not exist anywhere else on the planet.

I’m so excited to share a taste of Tunisia with you.

-Naouel, Damya Founder
